Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of DatabaseBuilder (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

DatabaseBuilder lets you capture business cards and email signatures and uses AI to extract structured contact details that you can review, store, search, deduplicate, and export within a workspace you control.

You sign in with a passwordless email code or link. You are responsible for the security of your email account and for all activity within your workspace. You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the service.

You agree that:

• You have the right and a lawful basis to upload the card images and signatures you submit and to store contact information about the people they describe.
• You will handle that contact data in compliance with applicable data-protection and anti-spam laws, and will honor requests from those individuals as required by law.
• You will not use the service for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful purposes, and will not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or breach the security of the service.
• You will not resell or provide the service to third parties except as permitted by us.

You retain ownership of the images, text, and contact data you submit (“your content”). You grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to operate and provide the service to you, including sending it to our subprocessors for AI-based extraction as described in the Privacy Policy.

The service applies usage limits (for example, a cap on the number of scans per workspace) to protect against abuse and runaway cost. We may adjust these limits and may throttle or pause processing for accounts that exceed them.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. AI extraction can be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, exceed usage limits, or to protect the service and its users. On termination, your right to use the service ends and your content may be deleted.

We may modify the service or these Terms. Material changes to the Terms will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
